Rs.300,000 collected from the sale of ‘Under the Shadow of A Sharp Edged Sword’written by Sivagamy Jeyakumaran alias Thamilini, leader of the Women’s Wing of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) Organisation, would be presented to Maharagama Cancer Hospital on the 5th with the participation of her husband Jeyakumaran Mahadevan and renowned Film Director Dharmasiri Bandaranayke.

Mr. Dharmasiri Bandaranayake said the presentation to buy medicine to the children’s ward of Maharagama Cancer Hospital is made on a request by Ms. Jeyakumaran.

Thamilini’s husband said she, who was being treated at Maharagama Cancer Hospital, made her last request that a part of the money collected from the sale of her book should be made available for medicine for the children being treated at the hospital.
